Diploma of Social Media Marketing (major in fashion, beauty & lifestyle)

Tell us a little bit about your journey to become a fashion student.

I moved to Sydney a year ago and when I chose to do an exchange in another country, my goal was always to study fashion. As soon as I finished my English course, I decided what to study, and it was then that a Brazilian Personal Stylist referred me to Orana because they offered the COE, giving international students the opportunity. That was the start of a great journey in my life.

What career path are you hoping to step into?

Entrepreneur.

What do you love most about being a fashion student?

The thing I love about being a fashion student is the exchange of ideas on all subjects in the fashion field shared with people from different cultures. The course I chose at Orana gives me that.

What are some of your favourite Orana memories and experiences so far?

Shoot Week is definitely my greatest memory. Having the opportunity to put ideas into practice with the support of make-up artists, models, a studio and photographers is very important for understanding where we want to be in the future.

Do you have any advice or tips for future students looking to enrol with Orana?

Courage and believing in yourself. I would also advise taking part in a class that interests them, so that they can see themselves living it.

How would you describe Orana in 3-5 words or less?

Welcoming and Talents developers.

What are your career goals and how does Orana help you to achieve them?

My biggest goal is to develop my clothing brand virtually so that we can create a physical store and expand geographically. Orana had and still has a big impact on the construction of this goal, because it was from here that I was able to make my first launch and put this dream into practice, making it a reality. Using all the material available at the school, such as the studio, make-up artist, equipment, photographers, this certainly made my first phase as an entrepreneur unique and professional. My current course offers everything I need to continue developing my brand virtually with a website, Instagram and all the other digital platforms.
