Orana Student
Orana Fashion Business College
“My advice is to trust your instincts. Take opportunities and don’t be scared or discouraged by failure, see it as a learning experience and persevere past it. If you want something, you can achieve it, don’t be scared to try new things and always be open.”
Are you happy you decided to enrol at Orana?
I am happy that I enrolled at Orana as the trainers and friends that I made connections with helped me learn a lot about the fashion industry and insight on life especially with the variety of different people from different cultures and ages.
What makes Orana different to other education providers?
I love having small classes as it allows us to discuss and go in depth of such topics. Being a student at Orana makes me feel comfortable and confident to ask questions and expand my knowledge. I truly enjoyed my experience at Orana.
Briefly, what does your job involve?
I will be assisting the Visual Merchandising Manager by following VM directives and guidelines, creating and designing displays for the Macquarie Park Uniqlo store. I will also be bringing in my own ideas to the table creating insightful and engaging displays.
Do you have any words of wisdom or advice to share with other Orana students striving to be employed in the Fashion Industry?
My advice is to trust your instincts. Take opportunities and don’t be scared or discouraged by failure, see it as a learning experience and persevere past it. If you want something, you can achieve it, don’t be scared to try new things and always be open.
Take the next step and launch
your creative career just like Michelle.
