Tell us a little bit about your journey to become a fashion student.

To enrol in Orana it happened actually by an ad on Instagram stories it was time when everything closed down due to covid I got out of the modelling industry. I knew that at some point I had to give up modelling however I did not want to leave the fashion industry itself that is why I started looking educational providers around the world and reading about them. When flicking through Instagram the ad popped by and I decided to check the website, the values in what Orana speak pushed me into enrolling with them.

What course are you (or were you) studying?

Diploma of Social Media Marketing (major in fashion, beauty & lifestyle)

What career path are you hoping to step into?

Being a booker but for new faces. I want to work with agency new faces - help build their books, guide them in the industry, teach how to model and in general being a mentor & a friend

what do you love most about being a fashion student?

Definitely the opportunity to utilise the studio when I work with models & creating my own industry connections!

What are some of your favourite Orana memories and experiences so far?

Forming friendships with fellow students and collaborating is my favourite part as well as meeting different industry trainers, utilising the studio space more on shoot week and having the support & sometimes a good chat with the lovely Orana support! Orana is definitely I could say my second home

Do you have any advice or tips for future students looking to enrol with Orana?

My advice is do not be afraid questions even if they sound silly, no question is silly. Orana is here to answer any questions you may have. For my internationals out there If you are coming to study in Winter make sure to get some warm things! It can get cold sometimes here
